
Dear friends and family,
It's okay to have pumpkin pie for breakfast. Two eggs, milk, molasses, and an orange vegetable, what could be bad? With a few added pecans, it's even better! This year I made a traditional crust with unsalted butter and was happy with the result. Previous attempts with non-dairy alternatives were unsatisfactory. There's nothing quite like the pleasure of enjoying a buttery, flaky crust made using my grandmother's cherished rolling pin.
