This week, I want to introduce you to Andrew Henry, Navajo Silversmith. He makes Story Bracelets that depict traditional Navajo life in Canyon de Chelly.
I met Andrew Henry and his wife at the Crown Point Rug Auction many years ago, in Crown Point, New Mexico. I liked his work and now own several of his pieces. We have stayed in touch through the years.

It is another Special Edition!
On December 1, TearsheetPDX is publishing not just one, but two magazines. Both the regular December issue and the Special Edition feature new designs by The Oregon Weaver. What has been missing this year is the chance to see and touch the garments. Using Covid-19 rules, we found a way to have a photo shoot. The goal was to show the fabrics in motion on the human form. No hair stylists or makeup artists were part of the Covid-19 rules. The models came prepared.
