Storytelling

Storytelling is an important component of the work I make in my weaving and sewing studios. Where I live shows up in the pieces. Yesterday, here on the Oregon Coast, we had a March winter storm with all of its wind, waves, and fury. It was marvelous to watch. That evening, I started putting together this video with the muse, Elana, wearing a hooded shawl and a waterfall scarf made by the Oregon Weaver. Yes, it is all imaginary drama, but it was fun.
