A Catchy Title
Dear Friends,
I have been asked to provide a "catchy title" for my April exhibition as Featured Artist in the Fibers Arts Studio Gallery at the Lincoln City Cultural Center, Lincoln City, Oregon. Feeling too close to the work, it occurred to me to ask for your help.
Can you suggest three (or four) active words for an exhibition title? Imagine this exercise like a game you might play in the car on a long road trip. I am hoping you can come up with an artful title. I did try a random title generator, but that got too weird. "Handwoven Smackdown!" was not going to work.
What is this exhibit about? This exhibit will display signature pieces from my collections of handwoven designs. The "Women of Steel", the Quilted collection, the Ruffled Edge collection, the "Waves and Waterfalls" collection, Zoom scarves, and the Pintuck collection are examples.
Can't wait to see what you come up with for an exhibition title! Send your suggestions to karen@theoregonweaver.com. Thank you!!
