This presentation chronicles a six-year journey of working with the style magazine Tearsheet PDX and the photos created in their studio. Tips on getting good images of handwoven garments will be discussed, as well as Karen’s explorations into creating short videos to help viewers experience the garments.

This is a 40-minute PowerPoint presentation of projects Karen has been involved with in public spaces, including information and outcomes of the Comprehensive Educational Training Act, 1974–1980. The projects include the ongoing restoration of the textiles of the historic Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood, Oregon, and the Sunriver Lodge restoration under the direction of Larry Kirkland in 1984.
