This coat tells a Pacific Northwest story with colors and textures were drawn from the Oregon coast. The palette was drawn from the following: Seal Brown Blackberry Jam with golden seeds Salal berry Red Kelp green-golds The coastal landscapes are suggested with the inset shapes. The ruffled edges were drawn from the mollusks and lichens in all their diverse forms. Wherever this coat travels, it will tell an Oregon story. Handwoven with cotton, rayon, bamboo and rayon chenille. |
